Its been quite a week for our U18’s, on Tuesday evening the team beat Durham City U18’s in the Semi Final of the U18 Durham Cup and they came away with a fine 4 1 victory to secure their place in the Final.
On Wednesday evening 5 of the group went with the 1st team squad to Shildon for our Northern League Cup Quarter Final fixture. Of the lads that travelled Shabs Mohammed, Jake Petitjean and Brandon Moran all made the bench with Shabs and Jake coming on to make their debuts for the Club. Arthur Connelly and Harry Lawrence took part in the warm up to start their integration into the 1st team squad.
Another fantastic achievement for the Club and the work Paul and John are doing with the U18’s is fantastic, while the 1st team management Michael, JD and Jason are taking every opportunity to watch the U18’s, integrate training and give our youngsters a chance.
A huge well done to all involved with both groups.
