Local non-league football clubs like Marske United, Brandon, and Sunderland RCA have faced challenges in recent seasons, and our own club has not been immune to difficulties, largely due to wider societal economic issues. In response to concerns raised by supporters, we’ve launched a Ground and Facility Development Fund to ensure the club’s progress.
We need to make several improvements, including upgrading floodlights to LEDs, adding a covered standing stand, installing an additional turnstile, improving lighting, and enhancing player safety in the changing room area, to meet Ground Grading requirements by March 2025. We aim to raise £50,000 for these upgrades, which will be held in Restricted Funds and used solely for the specified improvements.
Beyond immediate needs, we plan to refurbish the kitchen and main clubhouse, as well as improve catering facilities, as funds allow. Supporters can contribute through one-time donations or regular payments via our website. This initiative allows everyone invested in the club’s success to play a part in its continued growth on and off the pitch.
