Stockton Town have joined forces with other non-league Clubs across the country in sending a untied voice to The FA with regards to their decision to null and void the current season and expunge all results.
As a Club we felt we had no choice but to take this course given the huge financial implications that Stockton Town will suffer as a consequence of this decision, the haste with which it was taken and the lack of any consultation and dialogue.
While recognising that there are greater challenges for our community at the moment we believe that our Football Club will play a vital role in the coming weeks under these restrictions and once restrictions are lifted in bringing our community back together and bring a feel good factor back to young and old. This decision would seriously impact this in our opinion.
