Centre Forward Signs for the Anchors

Nathan Steel has signed for the Club from Shildon AFC and will go straight into Michael Dunwells squad for Saturdays visit to North Shields.

Centre Forward Nathan Steel has joined the Club from Shildon AFC and brings with him a proven goal scoring record in Northern League Division 1. Nathan first played for Stockton Town as an 18 year old on loan from Guisborough Town under Gary Hinchley’s management, in the Wearside League.

Manager Michael Dunwell has been a long time admirer of Nathans talents and said, “Nathan will bring another dimension to our attacking play and will bring out the best in Jamie Owens and Mikey Roberts, across our front line, as well as being a positive influence in the changing room.

After signing the transfer forms Nathan commented, “once I knew Stockton were interested in signing me it was the place I wanted to come to. I already know a lot about the Club, I know a lot of the players and I’m eager to play my part in the Club’s ambitions and progress.”

Welcome to the Club Nathan.
