Stockton Town U14’s will play Swalwell Swifts in the Durham County Cup Final on Wednesday 20th April. The game kicks off at 6pm at Durham FA Headquarters in Chester le Street, DH3 3SJ.
The Team would welcome any support from within the Club so if anyone fancies some top quality football on Wednesday evening get along and cheer the lads on.
Stockton’s route to the Final saw them beat Harton & Westoe in the 1st Round when Miko Davis was the star of the show. In Round 2 Brandon were the opposition but Liam Waters proved to be too strong for them. A tense Q/F tie against Hebburn Town in early December was centred around a great defensive display with Pierre Cerisier influential at right back and Team Captain Finn Cousin-Dawson on the scoresheet in the 2 0 win. The Semi Final however proved to be a lot more straightforward with a 7 0 victory over Greatham FC with Liam Waters producing a Man Of the Match display with a hat trick and 3 assists.
