Stockton Town Football Club are to support a Local Community Charity called “A WAY OUT”. They are based in Stockton-on-Tees at a support centre called The Gate. This centre provides the base for many of their projects, offering a safe and secure place for women and young people to come and receive support and get involved in a whole range of activities.

A WAY OUT stands for At Risk Women And Youth Outreach.

They are an outreach and prevention charity, specialised in engaging vulnerable and hard to reach women and young people, using creative and innovative approaches to educate, support and empower them to live safe, healthy and whole lives.

Their service users include women and young people with substance misuse problems, trapped in prostitution, homeless or living on the streets, involved in offending or victims of abuse.

A WAY OUT was started in June 2002 by a group of local people who wanted to see an end to addiction and poverty amongst women and young people in Stockton on Tees.

How can Stockton Town Football Club, its members, players, volunteers and supporters help. Well the Charity regularly hand out Food Hampers and Personnel Care Packs to their users and there resources are constantly stretched in providing these as demand outstrips availability. Can we as a group help fill this gap, you will see a collection point appear in the Clubhouse and we would be really grateful for any contributions of food stuffs or personnel care items,  that will go to help our local community. So look out for the Big Green Collection Bin and leave your contribution there.

Lets see what difference we can make as a Football Club.
