SATURDAY MORNING CLUB NEWS
We are glad to announce that the Saturday Morning Club continues to be a great success and has been a massive help in setting up four new Mini Soccer teams for the 2009/2010 season.
Stockton Town have set up a new under 7's team which plays in the Cleveland Youth League with all ten of the players coming from the Saturday morning sessions. Also a second Under 8's team has been formed which includes four players who were chosen from the Saturday morning club. The under 8's are playing in the TJFA league.
In addition, two new girls teams have been formed, one being an Under 10's team and the second being an Under 12's team with both of them playing in the Russell Forster Youth League. From the girls teams six of the players were chosen from the Saturday morning club.
The other teams who have benefitted from this are the Under 10's who have two players who started at the Saturday club and the Under 11's who also have two new players from the Saturday sessions.
As well as providing an avenue for players to join teams at Stockton Town FC the Saturday Morning Sessions provide relaxed coaching based around fun and technique allowing players to develop at there own pace whilst having a great time.
The Saturday sessions are on every week 10am until 11.30am and are for 5-13 year olds.
