Defender Signs for Stockton Town

Team Manager Michael Dunwell has captured his third signing of the summer with the capture of 19 year old Lewis King. Lewis has been much sought after and the Club is delighted that Lewis has decided to join The Anchors.

Lewis has come through the junior teams at Spennymoor starring for the U18’s before moving to join Premier League Burnley’s Academy for a year. Lewis returned to play for Spennymoor Town last season making his debut for the Club away at Curzon Ashton as well as enjoying successful loan spells at both Ashington and Ryhope CW.

On signing for Stockton Town Lewis said, “as soon as the Manager phoned me and I knew of Stockton’s interest I was really excited to meet up and once I’d spoken to the Club, looked at the facilities and spoken of ambitions my mind was made up where I wanted to play.”
