Another important game and another big performance by Stockton Town to reach the semi finals of the League Cup. Morpeth, recently promoted to the Evostik North Division, had the better of the first half and were ahead twice, through Davison after 5 mins and then Sayers on 50, a minute after Owens had tied the scores up in this League Cup quarter Final. The Anchors scored again through Woodhouse and then Nathan Mulligan converted a penalty on 79 mins after Fred Woodhouse had been fouled in the box.The Anchors saw it out and another semi final beckons in what is already a memorable season.
