Stockton probably had enough chances to have won this game by half time, but a stand out goalkeeping performance from Aycliffe’s James Winter and two excellent finishes resigned them to defeat. The Anchors will be disappointed with the loss of 3 points but Aycliffes defence was resolute and they ground it out when it mattered in the second half. Sonni Coleman got the goal for Stockton and Charneys superb free kick and a precise finish by Trotter was enough for a resurgent Aycliffe.
