Anchors do enough with Wembley on their minds

This was pretty much a routine victory against a rock bottom but game Synners team who lacked nothing in effort but the young side found it hard  to get anything meaningful going. Kev Hayes won a penalty which Nathan Mulligan slotted Home even more comfortably than last week and a second half Max Craggs free kick stunner was enough to bag the 3 points for Stockton who rotated the squad after last weekends efforts. Back four never in bother really and keeper Arthur was looking for touches of the ball to keep him interested. Difficult for Wembley bound Stockton players to focus I suppose but there are still 8 games to go and a League Cup quarter final and some places still up for grabs. Busy schedule next two weeks will hopefully consolidate a top ten finish.
